Transfer pricing refers to pricing arrangements for the sale of goods, provision of services, or other transactions between affiliates of a multinational enterprise with operations in more than one tax jurisdiction. These intercompany transactions are becoming increasingly frequent as multinational enterprises continue to globalize their operations. As a result, transfer pricing represents a significant and growing tax administration challenge to our clients as well as the Swedish tax authorities and foreign tax authorities. Deloitte Tax’s Transfer Pricing Group (“Transfer Pricing Group”) combines the global expertise of tax professionals, and economic and financial consultants to help multinational enterprises address their transfer pricing issues in the various jurisdictions in which they operate. As transfer pricing consultants we help multinational companies to price their internal transactions, such as interest rates, sales of intangible property or goods and services.
We are currently seeking a newly graduated recruit with an economics or legal background for our Transfer Pricing Group to work in a team/project–based environment. We are in an expansion phase and are therefore looking for additional members to our team in Malmö.
Responsibilities include devising and performing industry research and financial analysis of companies, communicating with clients to obtain factual and financial data, as well as drafting reports in support of our findings. Additional responsibilities include assisting with client marketing efforts and maintaining project files.
As a transfer pricing consultant at Deloitte you will have the opportunity to work in an international environment, as we work with multinational companies and you will cooperate closely with Deloitte offices all over the world. You will also have the possibility to run projects and advise clients operating in various businesses, such as the banking sector, pharmaceutical companies and the construction industry. Starting date is August 2018.
· Master’s degree in economics, finance, accounting or international tax law preferred.
· Strong analytical abilities.
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Swedish and English.
· Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
· Works well in team–based environments.
· Attention to detail, the ability to balance multiple projects at the same time and a willingness to work hard.
