Deloitte is seeking a Junior Consultant to join the Global Employer Services Group within the Tax & Legal department at the Almaty or Astana office.

The role will involve:

• Working under the supervision of a Senior Consultant or Manager
• Performance of local and expatriates payroll tax compliance: preparation of calculations, working with 1C system
• Analysis of personal tax questionnaires on reporting and taxation obligations, preparation of tax calculations
• Organizing of telephone briefings and meetings with various individuals, keeping online records updated
• Preparing/writing draft tax recommendations, reports, memorandums, samples of various legal and tax documents/contracts for review by Senior Consultants
• Preparation of tax returns
• Performing analyses of legislative changes and state authorities’ opinions, and reviews of relevant tax and legal publications
• Making visits to the offices of tax authorities
• Drafting of contracts, preparation of HR documents
• Preparing/finalizing various internal documents and processes, carrying out administrative tasks.


• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Management (taking classes of taxation, business, accounting); Master’s degree preferred
• 1C knowledge/experience is a plus
• Knowledge of the personal taxation concepts is a plus
• Advanced level of MS Word, Power point and MS excel
• Fluent knowledge of Russian and English (spoken & written)
• Ability to work under pressure and within tough deadlines
• Good analytical and organizational skills
